Travel Radiologic Technologist

Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled Travel Radiologic Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract in Dallas, Oregon. As a radiologic technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have experience working with CT scanners and possess excellent patient care skills. You will be responsible for preparing patients for CT scans, verifying patient information, and positioning patients properly on the CT table.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Preparation and Communication:
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and ensuring they are comfortable.
- Verify patient information, including medical history, allergies, and prior imaging.
- Operation of CT Equipment:
- Operate and calibrate the CT scanner, ensuring proper settings for each scan.
- Administer contrast agents or dye injections as required.
- Image Quality and Review:
- Review CT images for quality and ensure all required areas are captured.
- Work closely with radiologists to ensure images meet diagnostic standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with CT scanners.
- Excellent patient care skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Magnet Medical offers a competitive salary package for this role, including:
- Estimated annual salary: $80,000 - $120,000 based on experience.
- 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
- Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
