The Director of Cardiac Cath Lab is a pivotal middle management role, entrusted with comprehensive oversight of designated patient care sectors. This leadership position is responsible for enhancing professional practices and orchestrating patient care initiatives across administrative, clinical, and human resource domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit advanced management proficiency through effective leadership and operational oversight.
- Facilitate program advancement, fiscal strategy, and management of Cardiology Services.
- Oversee and synchronize the functions of Cardiac Services, which encompass both Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and the management of EKG and Echo services.
- Develop departmental protocols in alignment with Hospital Administration guidelines while addressing the requirements set forth by the Medical Staff.
Qualifications Required:
- Possession of a valid California RN License (Pending Licensure will not be accepted).
- Current BCLS Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Enrollment in a BS Degree program or possession of a BSN is mandatory; a Master's Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in an Acute Care Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
This role demands a commitment to excellence in patient care and the ability to lead a dedicated team in a dynamic healthcare environment.
