Position Overview: The Senior Estimator will oversee the estimation process for projects, providing mentorship and support to the estimating team. This role involves close collaboration with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to meticulously analyze construction documents and produce precise estimates for various building endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate construction plans and documentation to generate estimates for time, costs, materials, and labor requirements.
- Engage with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to finalize estimates and ensure clarity.
- Review Requests for Information (RFIs) and Addendums, participate in pre-construction meetings, and present estimates to clients.
- Analyze costs from previous projects, develop detailed scopes of work, and maintain strong relationships with estimators and preconstruction engineers.
Essential Competencies:
- Outstanding interpersonal communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively manage relationships and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years focused on estimating.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with On-Screen Takeoff software is advantageous.
