Job Title: Senior Thermal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Thermal Engineer to join our Mixed Reality Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing thermal solutions for Mixed Reality devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CFD simulation and calculations to accurately predict thermal behavior of electronic assemblies.
  • Validate models and verify requirements are met at component, module, and system level.
  • Lead thermal design cross-functionally and influence mechanical integration and product design decisions.
  • Communicate status and results to cross-functional teams and management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of related technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience using software such as FloEFD for CFD simulation and calculations.
  • 2+ years of experience influencing mechanical integration and product design decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 8+ years of related technical engineering experience.
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 6+ years of related technical engineering experience.
  • Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 3+ years of related technical engineering experience.
  • Equivalent experience.

Compensation: The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
