We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Health Advocates Network. As a PICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and make recommendations for care to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in the state of New Jersey or Compact State.
  • Valid BLS certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a PICU RN, with 1 year of experience in cardiac care.
  • Ability to float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Additional certifications may be required.
