We are seeking a highly skilled General Engineer to work at the 611th Civil Engineer Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson in Anchorage, AK. As a General Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects and service contracts for installations across Alaska, Hawaii, and the Northern Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, project programming, construction management/monitoring duties, and improvement projects of real property facilities and infrastructure
  • Perform planning and design work for substantial multi-phase new construction, renovations, and improvement projects
  • Prepare, develop, or review design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, underlying analysis, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Manage projects for new construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities
  • Plan, program, budget, and execute required projects in support of assigned programs
Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Obtain and maintain a Security clearance
  • Education requirements: Degree accredited by ABET or combination of education and experience
  • Experience performing planning and design work for substantial multi-phase new construction, renovations, and improvement projects
  • Experience preparing, developing, or reviewing design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, underlying analysis, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Experience managing projects for new construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities
