About the Role

The i9 Sports Baseball Instructor/Official is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering a high-quality instructional experience to young athletes. As a Baseball Instructor/Official, you will work closely with our volunteer coaches to ensure a positive and dynamic experience for all participants. Your role will involve hands-on involvement with practices and games, across various age groups and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruction and Skill Development: Teach young athletes the fundamental skills and techniques of Baseball, implementing age-appropriate drills and exercises to enhance their abilities.
  • Game Officiating: Serve as an official for youth T-Ball & Baseball games, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules.
  • Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safety of all participants during practices & games, supervising and managing groups of young athletes.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, participants, and fellow staff members.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience coaching or playing Baseball.
  • Knowledge of Baseball rules and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children and parents.
  • A passion for youth sports and the development of young athletes.
