Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team in Jackson, Tennessee. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to transport goods throughout the warehouse
  • Load and unload trucks, as well as perform cycle counting and inventory management tasks
  • Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work using health and safety methods
