Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager

Job Summary:

F.H. Paschen is a leading construction company with over 110 years of experience in the industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Heavy Civil INDOT projects and manage a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction contracts and work orders
  • Supervise project teams assigned to contracts and work orders
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers in the office
  • Monitor Superintendent performance on contracts and work orders
  • Create and collaborate on work proposals
  • Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners
  • Act as administrative point of contact for the owner
  • Understand project scope of work
  • Create and maintain project cost reports
  • Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners
  • Develop field quality assurance and quality control plan with Superintendent
  • Collaborate on project safety plan with Superintendent
  • Manage MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements
  • Manage EEO/Affirmative action contract requirements

Requirements:

  • 10 years of construction experience
  • B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering plus 5 years
  • Master's Degree plus 2 years
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously
  • Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting, and cash flow management
  • Proficiency in Project Management and Scheduling Software
  • Great communication and organizational skills
