Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in our team, providing resident care assistance under the supervision of a Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with bathing, toileting, and grooming
  • Feed dependent residents
  • Provide personal care, including toileting and bathing
  • Monitor intake and output
  • Document resident care and progress
  • Use mechanical lifts to ensure safe resident handling
  • Adhere to policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
  • Report any changes or needs to the nurse on a daily basis
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • State of Michigan CNA Certification or eligibility to take the test
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Reliability and flexibility to work every other weekend
