Job Title: Dental Care Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Care Specialist to join our team at Heartland Community Health Center. As a Dental Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check patients in for dental visits, perform needed x-rays, and obtain vital signs.
- Assist dentists and/or dental hygienists in daily clinical and operational activities.
- Prepare patients for procedures, maintain a clean oral working area, and promote good dental and general health.
- Educate patients on techniques of flossing, brushing, and overall oral health.
- Clean and sterilize instruments, follow infection control protocols, and complete required equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Any combination of education and work experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
- Spanish Bilingual preferred, but not required.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 7:00pm. Hours are approximate and may be altered by supervisor(s) as needed.
