About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. This is a full-time, 1 FTE evening shift position that offers a $4,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for external caregivers.

Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-focused, whole-person care and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist RNs with providing comprehensive nursing care to patients
  • Perform specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements
  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualification
  • One (1) year experience as a CNA 2
