Kitchen Attendant

The Kitchen Steward is a vital member of our team at The Rose Gaming Resort, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
• Supply Replenishment: Replenish supplies with clean ware, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and ready for service.
• Trash and Recycling: Empty kitchen trash receptacles and properly dispose of garbage, maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
• Daily Cleaning Tasks: Perform daily cleaning tasks in the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Safe Work Practices: Incorporate safe work practices into your daily routine, following all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Break down all kitchen equipment for cleaning, using approved chemicals and following manufacturer instructions.
• Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Comply with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, and government rules and regulations.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for longer than 8 hours, lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• License: Virginia Racing Commission License.
