About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team at INTEGRIS Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, performing a wide range of technical procedures, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic procedures
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in ultrasound imaging
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients
Requirements
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain current RDMS, RDCS, or RVT certification within 12 months of hire date
  • Successful completion of an Allied Health post-secondary education program or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written/verbal)
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and emergency call-backs. You will be exposed to moveable equipment, chemical fumes, patients with contagious diseases, electrical equipment, ionizing radiation, and contamination or infection through accidental needle puncture or exposure to blood and/or body fluids.
