Spray Painter Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is based in our paint shop, where the spray painter is responsible for preparing and applying paint to various components, including landing gear and hydraulic cylinders. The role involves meticulous preparation of parts for painting and ensuring they meet quality standards prior to delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts thorough visual inspections of parts to ensure they are clean and ready for painting;
- Adjusts spray equipment, prepares paint mixtures according to established guidelines, and addresses any issues independently;
- Executes moderately complex tasks that require precision, with a focus on maintaining quality and minimizing financial impact;
- Occasionally performs masking and demasking procedures on parts as needed;
- Prepares and applies transparent sealants and cosmetic paint using various tools, ensuring cleanliness of equipment post-application;
- Constructs and calibrates measuring instruments for accurate application.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma required.
Aerospace industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a paint shop utilizing manual spray guns.

Compensation:
$22 - $28 per hour
