Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Duke Regional Hospital. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication administration, and other medical interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited BSN or Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
  • Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience in critical care nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • BLS certification.
