Responsibilities
Deliver nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to provide safe and excellent patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
Administer medications utilizing the latest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies to ensure safe medication delivery.
Document patient care electronically, including assessments, plan-of-care, interventions, and evaluation of rendered care.
Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient transitioning and continuum of care.
Qualifications
NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License is required.
BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
Six months or more of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and demonstrate a strong sense of accountability for improving patient lives.
BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
