Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at Premier Health Partners.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures, utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. This individual will work under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform CT procedures of diagnostic quality as ordered by the referring physician and/or radiologist on patients of all ages according to established protocols and evaluates CT studies for technical image quality.
  2. Obtain clinical history and data for correlation with the CT procedure.
  3. Implement screening and safety measures in accordance with prescribed CT policies / procedures. Perform daily and weekly QC as required.
  4. Prepare and administer contrast media to the patient according to policy. Practice sterile techniques.
  5. Assist Radiologist in special procedures and in performing medical treatment during emergency situations.
  6. Coordinate patient care with other areas in order to optimize patient time and satisfaction.
  7. Assess learning needs and educate patients/families regarding procedures based on individual needs. Thoroughly educate patients about exam.
  8. Ensure that all records, files and reports are properly recorded as required, performs clerical duties when necessary, verifies a signed physician order is received and corresponds with the billed procedure.
  9. Maintain knowledge of the locations and operation of all emergency equipment in the unit.
  10. Follow radiation safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. ARRT RT (R) registry required. CT registry preferred. ODH licensure required. CPR Certification required.

One year experience or additional training in specialized field of CT preferred.
