Job Title: Assistant Director of Health and Wellbeing

The Waters is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Director of Health and Wellbeing to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the nursing process to provide exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage resident care with expertise in assessments, symptom management, crisis intervention, and family intervention
  • Lead the interdisciplinary care team in implementing The Waters Way, including health and wellbeing workflow processes, technology, and training
  • Supervise Resident Assistants and provide daily guidance on implementing care strategies
  • Investigate and report suspected resident abuse or neglect
  • Assist with auditing nursing practices for compliance with regulations and guide community policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing by the state in which the community is located
  • Minimum of two years of general nursing experience; geriatric nursing experience preferred
  • Supervisory and leadership experience preferred
