Middlebury College is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our dining team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our campus community.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to recipes and volume requirements.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain timely and efficient meal service.
- Conduct taste tests and ensure food presentation meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to uphold sanitary kitchen procedures.
- High school degree or equivalent experience required.
- Culinary training through an accredited culinary school or vocational program preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous food preparation experience required.
- Must be Serve Safe certified or successfully pass the exam after hire date.
