Family Medicine Physician

At Jordan Search Consultants, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and patient-centered Family Medicine Physician to provide high-quality medical care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Obtain complete medical histories and perform physical exams to assess patients' medical conditions.
- Make independent medical judgments, collaborating with other physicians as needed, to manage acute and long-term medical needs of patients.
- Interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintain and review patients' records, charts, and other pertinent information.
- Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures and report test results.
- Administer medications and injections as directed and according to protocols.
- Provide health maintenance and illness prevention advice to patients.
- Recommend community resources to meet patients' needs.
- Provide telephone consultations, follow-up phone calls, and triage patient telephone calls.
- Manage medical emergencies and provide monitoring and continuity of care between clinic visits.
- Provide consultation to nurse practitioners and physicians as needed.
- Stay current with advanced practice changes in the field and translate findings into clinical practice.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Unlimited license to practice medicine in the State of Indiana.
- Federal DEA certification.
- CSR (controlled substance registration) for the State of Indiana.
- Board certification or board eligibility.
- Three years of professional medical experience in a clinic setting preferred.
