Job Title: Clinician/Therapist for Unaccompanied Minors

At National Youth Advocate Program, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to children and families in need. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinician/Therapist to join our team and work with unaccompanied minors.

Job Summary:

The Clinician/Therapist will work closely with minors, foster families, sponsor families, and community partners to provide counseling, therapy, and support services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical social work, experience working with diverse populations, and a passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to minors and their families
  • Conduct risk assessments, behavior management assessments, and safety/crisis plans
  • Develop and implement individual service plans to meet the unique needs of each minor
  • Collaborate with foster families, sponsor families, and community partners to ensure seamless support services
  • Travel to foster family and sponsor homes to provide in-home services
  • Screen for human trafficking concerns and provide crisis intervention services
  • Assist in placement efforts with minors' sponsor or other permanent living arrangements
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work with clinical experience
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure
  • Ability to work flexible and non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required
