**Job Summary:**
The Compensation Analyst supports the HR Department at Middlesex Health to ensure employee compensation is in alignment with the organization's policies and guidelines, is competitive, and is compliant with legal and fiscal regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary scales.
- Prepares and presents reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
- Gathers and provides data to assess results and market trends.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration; or equivalent combination of relevant, college-level coursework and applied experience required.
- 3 years' directly-related compensation experience including job description analysis in a Human Resources department setting.
- Excellent computer skills. Requires advanced skills in Excel and intermediate to advanced skills in Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master's Degree.
- PHR, or SPHR/equivalent preferred.
- Experience with administration of compensation programs in multiple entity preferred.
- Administration of compensation programs in multiemployer/union plan environment is preferred.
- Experience in a Healthcare setting preferred.
