Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Porter to join our team at Ocean Subaru of Fullerton. As a Service Porter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth transition for our valued customers, and maintaining a clean and organized service area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet all customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional attitude, answering any questions and/or directing them to the appropriate person or location.
  • Install disposable protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service.
  • Deliver keys and repair order to the appropriate Service Advisor after parking vehicle.
  • Retrieve vehicles for customers when picking up, waiting at the vehicle, and thanking customers for their business.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures.
  • Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Professional and dependable.
  • Safety and customer service oriented.
  • Basic computer and internet skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Able to read and comprehend instructions.
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
