- Utilize proficient verbal and written communication skills, including a solid understanding of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Exhibit sound judgment in atypical situations, particularly when dealing with aggressive or violent individuals.
- Be readily available for contact during emergencies.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a security environment is required. Candidates must have a clean criminal record, free from felony or misdemeanor convictions.
Certifications:
Current CPR certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
Education:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Completion of the hospital's in-service training course (CPI) within three months of employment and the IHSS Basic Security course within six months of employment is also required.
