Position Overview

About Us

Part-Time Position: 18 hours per week at a rate of $35 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough client assessments, including obtaining medical histories and performing physical examinations for all clients.
  2. Utilize appropriate screening methods and laboratory tests based on client evaluations; interpret lab results and provide follow-up care as necessary.
  3. Carry out essential diagnostic procedures.
  4. Administer Pap Smear screenings.
  5. Perform insertions and removals of Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARC).
  6. Provide education on various birth control options and offer counseling on reproductive health and sexuality; refer clients to other healthcare providers as needed.
  7. Prescribe and distribute contraceptive methods.

  2. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with diverse populations.
  3. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to professional responsibilities.

  5. Possess basic computer skills and a fundamental understanding of database applications.
Qualifications
  1. Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program recognized by the National League for Nursing is preferred.
  2. Completion of an Advanced Practice Nursing Program in accordance with American Nurses Association Guidelines is required.
  3. Must hold a current license to practice as a registered advanced practice nurse in the State of Indiana.
