Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Park Ranger to join our team at Cameron County. As a Park Ranger, you will be responsible for protecting life and property, enforcing laws and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to the public.
Key Responsibilities:
* Protect life and property in Cameron County parks and public beaches
* Enforce laws and regulations related to park use and conservation
* Provide educational programs and activities for the public
* Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to achieve conservation goals
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Basic Peace Officer Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement
* Valid Texas driver's license
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Basic knowledge of Texas laws and regulations
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
License/Certification:
Basic Peace Officer Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement
Salary:
$41,540.00 - $60,000.00 per year
