We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join our team at Tennova Healthcare - Cleveland. As a CST, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain medical equipment for surgical procedures.
- Follow hospital regulations and industry procedures to tend to patients during procedures.
- Set up the sterile field, prepare instruments and supplies, and assist with passing instruments to the surgeon.
- Transport patients to and from the operating room as needed.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
- Graduate of a surgical technology program accredited by the Commission for the Surgical Technologist (LCC-ST).
- Active Surgical Technician Certification (CST) established by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- One year of experience as a CST preferred.
