About the Role

The role of the Trainee Laboratory Technician is a vital part of ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to improve service delivery, perform quality assurance tests on company products, and prepare laboratory reports prior to service delivery at the wellsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely job deliverables.
  • Develop advanced additive selection and fluid design competencies.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and waste is regularly disposed.
  • Prepare technical presentations for internal and external customers.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure laboratory operations meet required standards.
  • Provide technical support to the Design/Technical Engineer and Product Champions as needed.
  • Perform risk analysis before each task or job to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns.
  • Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
  • Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
  • Maintain required safety training.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of oilfield experience.
  • Previous lab experience is a plus.
  • Field experience is a plus.
  • Fluids experience is a plus.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

Pay Transparency Requirements

The compensation and benefits for this role are listed below in compliance with applicable law. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business needs.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour.
