At Vision Achievement, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Portland, OR. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and promoting a safe and healing environment for our patients.

Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) Savings Plan with employer matching, health care benefits (medical, dental, vision), life insurance, disability insurance, time off benefits (paid parental leave, vacations, holidays, health issues), voluntary benefits, well-being resources and much more.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and the necessary treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in healthcare.
Qualifications

We require a Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon, a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in leadership roles, strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare practices and procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
