Dishwasher Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our dietary staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, including setting up for meals and cleaning up afterwards
• Performing dishwashing duties, including washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, and pans
• Assisting with food storage and inventory management
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
• Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the dietary department

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene
• The ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in a dietary or housekeeping role is an asset

This is a full-time position, working 11:30 am to 7:30 pm, with every other weekend required. You will be working in a well-lighted and well-ventilated kitchen environment, with the possibility of exposure to cold and hot temperatures.
