Job Summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian I to join our Outpatient Bariatric Surgery Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical nutrition therapy to pre and post-bariatric surgery patients, lead and coordinate Bariatric Support Groups, and conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and counseling for disease management.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients undergoing bariatric surgery
  • Lead Bariatric Support Groups to promote healthy lifestyle choices and weight management
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and counseling for patients with chronic diseases
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in bariatric nutrition therapy
Requirements
  • RD (Registered Dietitian) certification
  • National Registration and State licensure within 6 months of employment
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in bariatric nutrition therapy (preferred)
