Freeskiing Coach Opportunity

Stratton Winter Sports Club is seeking a skilled Freeskiing Coach to lead our programs and cultivate a bold mountain community.

Responsibilities:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating fresh methods into seasonal goals and daily training plans to provide value to our athletes and parents.
  • Maintain effective communication with all constituents, keeping them informed of training schedules, critical program updates, event details, and expanded training opportunities.
  • Understand and implement concepts for growth opportunities and program improvements, including expanded programming, camps, and social activities that promote a year-round connection to the Club.
  • Attend daily meetings and be prepared to step in as backup for any part of the daily operations.
  • Maintain asset protection and inventory control.
  • Prepare venues for training and competitions.
  • Ensure safety while athletes are training and that only authorized individuals are within closed venue boundaries.
  • Maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance for guests and staff.

Previous experience participating in and coaching within their respective discipline at a state/local event is required.

A successful candidate should be familiar with event travel and prepared to travel as needed.

Travel Requirements:
  • Regular event travel may be required.
  • Reimbursement is given for authorized travel expenses.

This position requires work on select evenings, all weekends, and holidays during the winter season.
