Position Summary: Under minimal oversight, performs testing on in-process and finished goods to ensure compliance with defined quality and purity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory assessments and interpret data for various applications, including production oversight, quality assurance, and minor research initiatives.
- Evaluate and analyze products, such as feed and grain, to confirm they meet plant specifications before approval for distribution.
- Authorize the release of compliant vessels and document any deviations from specifications.
- Record test outcomes and readings in the Total Lab Client (TLC) system. Complete Certificates of Analysis as required.
- Prepare chemical solutions for laboratory applications.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and associated field instruments.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant FDA, GMP, TTB, USP, EPA, OSHA, and company standards and protocols.
- Support and adhere to all food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient troubleshooting abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding and adherence to plant GMP and personnel practices.
