Job Overview

The Retail Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring the retail space is well-organized and inviting. This position involves providing exceptional customer service and assisting patrons with their purchases, as well as handling sales transactions. Key Responsibilities

? Welcome and assist customers while proactively addressing their needs.

? Maintain optimal stock levels and organize products to enhance store presentation.

? Operate the cash register, manage cash transactions, and process credit card payments.

? Ensure accurate cash handling, including safe checks and preparing deposits.

? Uphold a friendly and efficient demeanor in customer interactions, adapting to their requirements.

? Follow cash handling protocols and security measures to protect company assets.

? Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

? Previous experience in customer service is advantageous.

? Experience with cash handling is preferred.

? Basic mathematical skills and ability to count accurately are essential.

? Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is necessary.

? Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, is expected.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
