Lucky's Trailer Sales / Dimmick Group Peterbilt is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to maintain and repair diesel-powered vehicles in Royalton, Vermont.
Responsibilities:- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives, evaluate components, and diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs.
- Provide accurate estimates for additional repairs.
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
- 2+ years of Diesel Technician experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- B-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills.
- Dexterity and excellent hand-eye troubleshooting abilities and proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Strong customer service skills and basic computer competency.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and improve.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- Willingness to adapt to new technology, repair procedures, and industry developments.
