Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including developing and implementing care plans, and communicating with patients and families.
- Monitor and Evaluate Patient Condition: Continuously monitor and evaluate patient condition, identifying and responding to changes in patient status, and taking appropriate action to ensure patient safety.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques, and provide emotional support and guidance as needed.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and patient outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a current RN license.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
- Certifications: Current RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and any other certifications required by the state of North Dakota.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, as well as occasional bending and stooping. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
