Camp Nurse Job Description

• As a Registered Nurse in our camp setting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our campers and staff members throughout the summer.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Administer first aid and provide medical care to campers and staff as needed.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all campers and staff.
3. Dispense medications to campers in accordance with prescribed instructions and camp policies.
4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement health and safety protocols.
5. Monitor and manage the camp's infirmary, ensuring it is clean and well-equipped.
6. Assess and address any health-related concerns or emergencies promptly and professionally.
7. Communicate effectively with campers, parents/guardians, and staff regarding health matters.
8. Assist in organizing and implementing health-related programs and educational initiatives.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and local health regulations and guidelines.

Salary Range: $7,500.00 - $12,000.00 per season

This is a seasonal position for approximately 6 weeks, from June to August, in Minerva, NY.
