We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team at The Boyd Group. As a key member of our repair facility, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and quality repairs that meet our high standards.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive repair techniques and tools, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for assessing damage, planning repairs, and executing quality work while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess damage and plan repairs for vehicles
- Use various tools and equipment to repair vehicle bodies and chassis
- Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage
- Remove damaged sections of vehicles and replace them with new or aftermarket parts
- Repair or replace interior parts as needed
- Weld and attach parts into place and prepare vehicles for painting
- Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure all work has been executed correctly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer
- Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections
- $21-$29 per hour flat rate compensation
- Up to 80 hours of paid time off annually
- 2 weeks of paid parental leave for full-time employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week
- 6 paid holidays annually
