Evening Recreation Coordinator

As a Recreation Coordinator / Assistant at Hattie Larlham, you will engage in the exciting task of organizing and overseeing activities related to games, films, arts and crafts, music, and various recreational events, including community outings.
Available Positions:
- Recreation Assistant - Enjoy a rewarding role while having fun
- Schedule: Flexible Full-Time or Part-Time, primarily during afternoons and evenings
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy, education, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is advantageous.
- Must possess an Ohio Driver's License and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening to operate a company vehicle.
- Willingness to obtain certifications in First Aid, CPR, and as a Shallow Water Lifeguard - training provided at no cost.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly wage of $17.00 plus shift differentials, with early access to earned wages.
- Training in First Aid/CPR, safe lifting techniques, Hoyer Lifts, wheelchair maneuvering, and understanding non-verbal communication.
- Health insurance eligibility begins on the first of the month following hire for full-time employees.
