We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Adele Hall Emergency Department. As a member of our crisis center team, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based advanced practice nursing care to address the physiologic, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide autonomous direct patient management, collaborating with physicians of emergency medicine and psychiatry
- Complete thorough history and physical assessments, order and interpret lab tests, develop differential diagnoses, and implement plans of care
- Coordinate the disposition process, working effectively with the medical team and communicating clearly with families
- Participate in beginning leadership, evidenced-based practice/research, and organizational development activities
- Master's degree in nursing required; DNP preferred
- 1-2 years of pediatric RN experience; exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis
- Licensed RN in MO or KS; APRN license in KS or MO required upon hire
- APRN board certification congruent with population and practice setting
