Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Engineer to join our team at Woodcliff Hotel & Spa. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's physical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on all hotel equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.
  • Inspections and Repairs: Conduct daily inspections of HVAC systems and make any necessary repairs or adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
  • Transportation: Drive company vehicles to transport tools and equipment to various job sites as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Demonstrate proficiency in weightlifting capacity to assist with moving heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Industry Standards: Maintain a valid HVAC repair license and stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least three years of practical experience in one or more of the technical trades (HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, etc.), with trade school or related college coursework preferred.
  • Customer Service: Previous experience in customer service and hotels is preferred.
  • Communication: Good communication skills, with fluency in English preferred.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to perform heavy work - exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Work Environment: Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances, as well as work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
