This Truss Assembler role requires collaboration with the team to construct and assemble metal plated wood trusses using jig systems such as rolling gantry tables and hand press systems. Responsibilities include lifting and handling dimensional lumber of varying sizes and lengths, climbing onto jig systems to arrange materials properly, retrieving metal connector plates per shop drawings, operating a forklift to move lumber carts and trash, marking trusses with tag numbers, using metal strap banders to tie truss batches together, and restocking plates, lumber carts, pallets, etc.
