Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team at Starfish Family Services. As a GSRP Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing a quality program of educational activities for pre-school children, promoting their growth and development in various areas.

• Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages language, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children.
• Interact with children in a warm, nurturing manner, promoting a cooperative and constructive relationship with families.
• Ensure compliance with child-care licensing and HHS regulations.
• Monitor and work in conjunction with co-teacher to provide a well-organized classroom.
• Assist in ensuring that all health and developmental screenings are up-to-date and complete.
• Promote parent-child bonding and nurtures parent-child relationships.
• Provide, document and report all program activities and interactions as required by contract, licensing, and programmatic goals.

• Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education or related study required.
• Previous professional experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
