The Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse is a vital member of the patient care team, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care on our fast-paced, 31-bed unit. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, with a focus on cardio-pulmonary, dialysis, oncology, and general med/surg patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process
- Delegate tasks to other healthcare professionals as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education to patients and families on health and wellness
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, making adjustments to care plans as needed
- 1 year of previous nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
