About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Dental Hygiene Instructor to join our team at Albany State University. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our dental hygiene program, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction for dental hygiene students
  • Develop and implement curriculum for dental hygiene courses
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program accreditation standards
  • Supervise clinical personnel and students
  • Participate in departmental and university-wide committees
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Dental Hygiene or related field
  • Current Georgia Registered Dental Hygiene License
  • Local anesthesia certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical dental hygiene experience and/or instructional experience in a dental hygiene education program
