Fitness Center Ambassador

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate at Planet Fitness. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, guests, and fellow team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and Assist Members/Guests: Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club, assist them with any questions or concerns, and ensure a seamless check-in experience.
- Promote the Judgement Free Zone: Connect with members on the club floor, offer assistance, and show support in their fitness journeys while upholding club policies.
- Resolve Member Concerns: Address member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed to ensure a positive experience.
- Perform Membership Functions: Assist with membership sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and collections, as well as perform retail transactions with accuracy.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Answer phones in a friendly manner, assist callers with their inquiries, and provide exceptional service to all members and guests.
- Customer Service Experience: 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- CPR/AED Certification: Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
- Basic Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Standing and Moving: Continual standing and moving throughout the club to accomplish tasks during shift.
- Communicating: Continual communicating in person or on the phone to exchange information during shift.
- Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
