Position Overview

The Sonographer will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicating the ultrasound process to patients, addressing their inquiries, and offering reassurance.
  • Applying ultrasound gel to the designated areas of the patient's body for imaging.
  • Configuring and fine-tuning the ultrasound equipment to suit the specific examination requirements.
  • Selecting appropriate still images or sonograms for the Physician's review and diagnostic purposes.
  • Assessing the quality of the images and interpreting them to assist Physicians in diagnosing and managing medical conditions.
  • Presenting the captured images along with preliminary assessments to the Physicians.
  • Documenting patient records and medical notes related to the ultrasound procedures performed.
  • Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of ultrasound equipment and procedure rooms.
  • Supporting Radiologists during vascular ultrasound examinations and ultrasound-guided procedures.
