Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Child Development Specialist to join our team at Hidden Talents ABA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with children diagnosed on the autism spectrum, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in home-based and community-based settings.
Job Responsibilities- Implementing ABA Programs: You will design and implement programs based on ABA principles to increase communication, self-help, social, and play skills in children.
- Professional Communication: You will communicate effectively with families, keeping them informed about their child's progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Motivating Children: You will create a positive and engaging learning environment, motivating children to learn and participate in activities.
- Progress Tracking: You will accurately record and track client progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
- Behavior Management: You will develop strategies to manage challenging behaviors, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all clients.
- Education: A high school diploma is required; however, a higher level of education or certification is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children in the ABA therapy field is essential.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for success in this role.
- Transportation: You must have access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license for traveling to client locations.
- Competitive Salary: $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.
