Production Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at Rinker Materials, a leading manufacturer of reinforced concrete products. As a Manual Machinist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality concrete products.

• Operate Production Equipment: Safely operate a variety of production equipment, including welding machines, material handling equipment, and aligning machines to ensure smooth production processes.
• Maintain Equipment: Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to detect mechanical difficulties and maintain necessary service records.
• Understand Operations: Develop a thorough understanding of equipment operations and maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Train and Mentor: Train and mentor new team members to ensure a smooth onboarding process and maintain a high level of production efficiency.
• Adhere to Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to all administration and safety precautions, rules, and procedures throughout the plant to ensure a safe working environment.

• Experience: 1+ years of experience working in a concrete plant environment.
• Bilingual: Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
• Mathematical Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Measurement Skills: Understand and apply basic measurements and be able to read a tape measure.
• Physical Demands: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and use extreme caution when working around cranes, trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
